There is a fairly new 'Freebie' from Microsoft which gathers together all the colour profiles installed on your computer for the various devices (monitors, printers, scanners etc ) making it easier to manage them.

With Google (or similar) search for "Microsoft Color Control Panel Applet" and it will take you to the appropriate point in the Microsoft site. (or click here) I should add, it requires Windows XP and Service Pack 2

Here is an easy way to correct those sloping horizons or verticals :- In Photoshop,go to the Measure Tool (nested with the Eyedropper in the toolbar - bottom right) Click and drag the cursor along the horizon as it is shown on the monitor (ie sloping), releasing it at the end of the horizon line. Now got to Image>RotateCanvas>arbitrary and you will see the angle of deviation in the amount box. Just click on OK and the job is done.
